The Pontis Wiki is about everything related to the world of which the story Soothsayer of Pontis takes place in! Here, you can read up on characters, the world, and the history of Pontis itself!
Since Mandy is already flinging this link around as refrence material for characters, it's worth noting that this wiki is in its fetal stages. So far, we're working on completing the character section before moving on to archetecture and the culture of Pontis itself... followed by important cities through out Pontis' history.
It's slow going, but stay tuned!
The StoryEdit
If you're brand new to the story, here's a brief synopsys:
Three years have passed since the Military Pillar, Julian DuPont has initiated a political power struggle and blocked off access to the Compass Room. His actions and decisions appear to be driving the once glorious Merchant's Republic of Pontis into the ground, and DuPont is offering no insight into the reasons for his dodgy behavior.
Domestic Pillar, Mana Wisehart is looking for answers as well as solutions, and recruits the soothsayer Wesley Fisher to provide them. When the soothsayer predicts an unfortunate end for the republic in its creeping future, Mana is left scrambling to fight against fate while Julian works quietly behind scenes to absolve himself from an unspoken conflict of his own. All the while, the soothsayer finds himself haunted by visions and imagery of a nameless owl who may be the answer to the republic's current prediciment.
